"Adam adores Emily. Emily thinks Adam’s perfect, the man she thought she’d never meet. Lurking in the shadows is a rival, a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves. Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever."

I had been looking for a thriller/suspense book, and lucky for me, I got an Adance Reader's Edition of this book!

Ok, I have to admit: Once I grabbed this book I was hooked!

The plot is amazing and Sandie Jones had a way of helping the reader connect with the characters — but it's by no means predictable. You sense from the very beginning that something is not right, yet, I kept guessing till the very end, and still, I did not see it coming.

Remember that friend that used to call you in the middle of the night and cry over her boyfriend's last trick and you couldn't believe she was still in "love" with him?  Well, that's Emily.

Pammie, the mother-in-law, is nothing less than devilish, and so many times I just wanted to yell at Emily to GET OUT!  All I can say (without giving away any spoilers) is, be ready to hang  on to the edge of your seat.

You won't be disappointed!
